I moved to downtown San Jose seven years ago. While walking, bicycling and driving around I see something remarkable almost every day. Some of my friends are afraid to come down here to visit me. I'm hoping this blog will make San Jose seem less scary. This is my personal view of San Jose and life downtown.

Wow Joann! What a talent! Your site is fun to read and the pictures are wonderful. I knew I chose the perfect teacher for my kids!!!- Laura
Joann, I came across your site and thought you might want to see more on the downtown way of life. There's a new-home reception Thursday at The 88 (http://the88sj.eventbrite.com/), come on down, and then there's the first-ever closing of San Fernando for pedestrian/bike day May 15 (http://sanjoseclassic.com/downloads/ViaVelo_Flyer.pdf). Anyway, enjoyed your posts.
